Columns build downward in alternating colours (a red 7 on a black 8). Only a King can start an empty column. Foundations build upward by suit from the Ace. Turn cards from the stock one or three at a time, and turn the stock over as often as you like.

Yes, in Settings. Draw 3 is the harder classic setting. The change applies to your next deal, so you never lose the game in progress.

It follows the standard scoring most players grew up with: 10 points for a card placed on a foundation, 5 for moving a card from the stock to a column, 5 for turning over a face-down card, minus 15 for taking a card back off a foundation, and a penalty for extra passes through the stock. Two points are deducted every ten seconds, and finishing in under a few minutes earns a time bonus. Undo restores the score of the move you took back but does not give time back.

Before a deal is shown, the app runs a solver on it in the background and prefers deals it has already proved can be won. If a proven deal is not ready in time, you get a random deal instead, so a small number of games may still be unwinnable. Turn the setting off if you prefer fully random deals.

Winning a game pays coins, with extra for finishing fast, playing without undo, and keeping a win streak. Coins unlock card backs in the store inside the app. Coins are earned only by playing: they are not sold, cannot be bought, and have no cash value. Games you leave after only a few moves do not count against you.

On your device. Your unfinished game, coins, card backs and statistics are stored locally and restored when you reopen the app. There is no account and no cloud sync, so deleting the app deletes that progress unless your device backup restores it.

The game is free and shows one full-screen ad before each new deal after the first one of a session. There are no ads during play. See the privacy policy for how ads are chosen and how to change your choices.

The game itself, saving, and statistics work without a connection. Ads and Game Center need a network; if an ad cannot load, the deal simply starts.

If you are signed in to Game Center, wins are submitted to the best-score and fastest-win leaderboards and count towards achievements. Open them from Settings or from the victory screen. Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings if you would rather not take part.

Deleting and reinstalling the app clears the saved game, coins, unlocked card backs and statistics on that device. Game Center scores already submitted remain in your Game Center profile.
